Job description
Duties and Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer Role:
We produce custom portable backdrops for events and exhibitions. Your role will be to collaborate and create large format custom designs for our client’s orders. Expect to:
· Collaborate with clients to obtain assets, brainstorm, and design marketing backdrops from start to finish
· Work with customers across multiple industries such as entertainment, medical, tech, etc
· Follow up with clients regularly to confirm artwork approvals and client deadlines
· Finalize files for print
· Maintain deadlines and correspond with clients for artwork approvals
· Manage and organize files, upload to remote servers when needed
· Collaborate with colleagues in job management and scheduling
· Train and/or assist Jr. Designers with Pre-Press file vetting and preparation as needed
Requirements
Experience and Requirements of the Graphic Designer Role:
Although education and experience are important for the role, we place a strong importance on personal character, drive, and ability. We are looking for someone who is:
· Highly Proficient in the Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
· Excited to communicate and collaborate with many different clients on a daily basis
· Team player, but works well without being micro-managed or close, daily instruction
· Detail oriented, fast learner, and technologically inclined
· Thrives in a fast-paced environment
· Fluent in English (verbal and written)
· Shares our values of personal accountability, positivity, and professionalism
· Qualified with either relevant education or experience such as:
Degree or Certificate from an accredited program in Graphic Design
OR
Five years or more professional design experience, large format a plus
